A December to Remember
2020 has been rough, to put it mildly. I have to focus on the positive. I have a routine each night, I find something that made me laugh during the day. Since Covid I try to think about something that made me smile each day. That is enough for me. My brothers singing an original song (you have seen them on my Instagram @otto_types), my dad chasing me around the house, even the first bite of crispy bacon can make me smile. I hope that everyone can find just one thing in twenty four hours that could make them smile. Just a small smile, it doesn’t have to be a big toothy grin. I was privileged enough to be included as a community partner for Autism Tree Project Foundation’s Holiday Drive Thru Event last Saturday. My brothers helped me spread the word about the virtual book club I co-host with Danielle Levy for Autism Tree and the inspirational message of Otto’s Mottos. We had smiles plastered on our faces for a couple hours. We danced and shared contact free holiday cheer with more than 150 cars full of smiling people, young and old alike. We gave away free Otto’s Mottos merch and entertained the masses with our sic dance moves. Share a smile and bust a move this December. You have the power within you to make December 2020 a December to remember.
